I am updating this site! Thank you for your interest and time as I make the site better.
If you are interested, here is a little background on the author of this blog. I use this blog for my professional life and post items related to technology in education. I hope you will participate in the conversation along the way!
I am the Academic Technology Consultant for the Business and Law Schools as well as Leadership Studies, and three programs in Continuing Studies (Emergency Services Management, Human Resources Management, and Paralegal Studies) at the University of Richmond (Richmond, VA) facilitating the introduction of emerging technologies in teaching and learning.
I am a native of North Carolina and Ph.D. (abd) in Curriculum and Educational Technology at the College of William and Mary. Some of my interests are mobile computing, cloud computing, open-source content, blogging and course management systems.
Research and Academic Interests:
Academic interest in mobile computing, cloud computing, open-source content, blogging and course management systems. Research interest in online collaboration and adult learning.
Philosophy of Technology:
Each use of technology in the classroom is unique and must meet the professor’s needs for teaching first. There is nothing worse than using the right technology the wrong way or using the wrong technology when no technology would be better.
